Warren Schaeffer
Position: Manager, Asheville Tourists.
Born: Vandergrift, Pa.
College: Virginia Tech.
Playing career: 38th round draft pick of Colorado Rockies in 2007 MLB Draft; six seasons as infielder in minor leagues, 2007-2012; hit .214 with nine homers, 137 RBIs in 461 games, reached Triple A in 2010 and '11.
Coaching career: Hitting coach at Short Season Tri-City, 2013-14.
