Lessons:
We specialize in private one on one lessons covering all aspects of the game. Each half hour lesson
cost $40.00, or $37.00 for members.
What is a baseball lesson?
Lessons are one on one sessions that last 30 minutes and cover hitting, pitching, fielding, throwing
or catching.
How Do They Work?
Each lesson is broken down into two parts. Drills and Skills. The drill portion of the lesson is
designed to create habits and body movements that allow a player to improve his of her hitting and
pitching mechanics. Here's how it works. Each instructor breaks down a players mechanics and
determines what needs to be done in order to achieve improvement. At Bianco School of Baseball,
we teach individual body movements. Each movement is broken down into pieces and each piece
is trained individually through a variety of drills to help create new and correct habits. When each
movement becomes consistent and the player has a good fundamental base, we move onto the skill
portion of the lesson.
The skill portion of the lesson consists of actual hitting or pitching. This allows a player to
implement the skills and mechanics covered in the drill phase. Each player is then given specific
things to work on at home to allow for a positive progression from week to week.
Do the players hit off batting machines and pitch to targets?
NO NO NO! At the Bianco School of Baseball all our players hit live pitching and pitch to actual
catchers. When we are in the skill phase of our lessons we believe that players need to be in the
most realistic environment available. ALWAYS HITTING OFF OF BATTING MACHINES
DOES NOT HELP PLAYERS GET BETTER. We do have machines available for use but do not
incorporate them in our lessons. All of our instructors PITCH LIVE BATTING PRACTICE AND
CATCH OUR PITCHERS.
What ages do you instruct?
We have players of all ages at the Bianco School of Baseball. We have players as young as 5 and
others in there 70's(Pirate Fantasy camp participants getting ready). We have T-Ball players as well
as college and professional players. Our instructors have the unique ability to relate to all types and
ages of players.
How often are lessons scheduled?
Players usually attend lessons once or twice a week. We do lessons 12 months a year to allow the
serious players the best opportunity for improvement.
AT THE BIANCO SCHOOL OF BASEBALL, WE ARE ALL BASEBALL . . . ALL THE TIME.
OUR INSTUCTORS ARE THE BEST AROUND . . . WHY? BECAUSE WE GET RESULTS!!!
